The Hamilton Bulldogs picked up their first win of the 2019-2020 season as they escaped the confines of Sarnia with a 4-3 victory in the season opener.
Pros
- Goaltender Zachary Roy was outstanding in this first start of the year. Had a productive 28 save performance, including a stellar third period in net.
- Arthur Kaliyev picked up where he left off with a three point performance. His playmaking ability was greatly needed with the young core.
- Penalty Kill was very good tonight. 80% effective.
Cons
- Need to capitalize with the power play. 1-for-7 with the man advantage.
- Need to be better on the face off.
- Injuries.
